Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa: Only Test
I think I would have sent out Chatara next to start mindless slogging, in a desperate attempt to erase the deficit.
I'm fearful we could just prod and defend and be all out for 130.
Game is gone now. May as well play some shots.
It's so disappointing after fighting so hard for 10 sessions for it all to unravel in 1, but that's the nature of Test cricket I guess. And especially when it's a battle between 1 and 9 in the rankings. I don't think this takes away from how well Zimbabwe have played for the last 3 days, in the end SA's class just shone through all at once.

First glance at the score card today after the initial 15 minutes and I find the Zimbabwe collapse happening in full flow
.
Credit to Vusi to have played that innings under the kind of pressure he was in. Business as usual for Richie now...

I just hope the guys can hang on beyond the tea break. Else, I might not even get to watch anything today
.
Looks like Vusi's was a brain freeze. Any other soft dismissals?

I feared I would wake up to a Zimbabwean collapse. Still we have fought tough in this test match and gained respect. Think of how this result compares to the last time we played South Africa in a test.

Richie is a tough customer.

well a terrible 2nd session after an excellent first one. Nice to not lose by an innings. Now for Richmond to do his stuff and fight us forwards.

Day 5 always looked impossible. But to make it to the last session of day 4 and to make them bat twice is a huge achievement. Well done boys

Mutumbami is very resilient isn't he. Personal milestones are the only thing we can still get out of this match... so far we've had a Taylor half-century and a Nyumbu 5-fer. Mutumbami richly deserves a half-century as well.
I hope the tail can bat around him.
If everything goes perfectly, we could have a lead of 100 and force the match into a 5th day.

My word, that cover drive reminded me of the class of Dravid and Sanga!
