Wellington is suffering for his brother's sins. He isn't bad at all. Maybe people feel his presence blocks some other guys from ever getting a decent chance. Maybe Ainsley who is a similar profile and Mavuta who for me has a much higher ceiling than Wellington although he is isn't the same type of spinner. We also see Wellington not bowling his full quota multiple times. Williams can do his job.
Give Mavuta 5 series in a row to prove himself the way Wellington has basically had 5 years to find his feet

With Wes and Maru and even Clive to an extent although he comes in as a keeper a lot. There are maybe 6 or 7 guys who are better than them right now. Why not organize a season of A tours for them to get better and let the other guys play? It's so simple

When are Netherland due to come in. No word on how many games they will play though. With the National team in action its given other guys a chance to match up. We wait to see the selections if it will be the rest of the guys from the regionals or we will see some new additions.

I have just finished listening to parts of that Space session. Very amusing.
Some quick thoughts are
- Having the franchises at least keep an up to date social media presence would help.
- Zim cricket or the franchises having a running injury update post. I.e Welch - hamstring 2-5 weeks. Would stop half the arguments.
- I tend to use this with my clients at work but most people are using 100% emotional mind and struggle to see some logic in there. You can argue Zim has a bigger fan base now and it becomes a shouting match for an opinion and not for conversation.
- I always find it funny when people say the players are utter total failures. Instead of like not consistent enough.
Anyways i'm sure the powers will be will dig their heels in and not pick someone because drewP_balz66 keeps saying Welch over and over.
I'm hoping with the amount of cricket coming up we do see changes across the teams.

Why he always comes with racial agenda? Williams retired from T20i and Ervine out of form in T20i, then why?

Well they can shut everyone up by winning. Let's see how that goes. I personally will never wish a loss on them. There is a high chance they are not going to win a single game until Ireland comes. Then the pressure will really be on. Afghanistan in particular are going to be ruthless if they send a full strength team

Coltart certainly knows how to piss on people's batteries. It's so alarming reading the replies. We're so f'#ed here. There's always a number of folk that still think we're in the transformation phase. It's code for theft and racism. How do you justify fucking someone over for something someone else did 40- 100 years ago? Be more racist to cure racism? FFS.
Did you see those Maori idiots performing in Parliament because a bill is being passed making whites equal.
No more freebies, they're fucked
Those white rugby players can finally stop claiming Maori heritage.
We're going to see a lot less tattoos.
It's thoroughly amusing.
I don't think Coltart has a racial agenda and neither do the bulk of Matabeland or he wouldn't be mayor of Bulawayo. His agenda is meritocracy and racism stands in the way across the board in this country.
It's improved hugely, but its still there.
The important thing is to be able to have the conversation and the time is now.
Why has it improved? The main reason is there are so few whites left there's few to still blame. Anybody still blaming us gets laughed out of town by at least 51% of the population. Whites have indigenized and perhaps some people feel they've had to, but so what? Its the result thats important.
After 40 years start looking inward and at the leaders for reasons why we're 4th world but the top dogs are zillionaires. This country is in tatters.
Coltart is out of touch with cricket and his sweeping statements are certainly inflammatory, but there's some truth in them hence the angry responses.
Perhaps he needs to know exactly what's going on and make specific comments or polite enquiries, not that he'd get anywhere, but he could have a more reasonable dialogue. He pokes the hornets' nest and we all get tarred with the same brush. We need dialogue and not confrontation and division.

Last night I was busy tracing acrimonious conversations on twitter and stumbled across some guy called piecejob who just keeps posting stuff about Nick Welch. I don't think he realizes he's done infinitely more harm than good. That makes ZC grimly determined to keep him at arms length until he does something so monumental they can't avoid him, and they hope he doesn't
In hindsight unfortunately its exactly the same with this forum. They read this and think f#* you, we'll show you. One thing we know for certain is that they're spiteful and vindictive, bear a grudge and love to settle old scores. But what's the alternative? Say absolutely nothing?
The minute nobody asks a question situations get worse, not better. To assume anybody, of any colour, will do what's right without having to be answerable is naive. It's human nature to get away with what you can and pursue any agenda you may have.
The problem is everyone says ZC this and ZC that. Even the guys in ZC complain about ZC, it's a bit surreal. Nobody will actually point a finger and say Mr X did Y. Also what happens across the board in this country is that the guys at the top will turn a blind eye and let the guys underneath eat a little, then they've got them forever. It works well.
The problem with our society is nobody holds anybody accountable or even tries to, until it's too late and it's broken beyond repair and only then does the shouting start. And its an irrefutable fact that the general public don't want to see white guys too involved in anything.
They must be in the background and controlled.
Anything more and they feel like they've gone badly backwards. I think we're at least two generations away from being close to an even footing, perhaps never.
Will they pass a Maori bill in our parliament so we can join society?
When a guy gets into a position of authority the general feeling is he's earned it and should perhaps be allowed to give himself a bit of a leg up.
In the old days that was when a guy would come under even more scrutiny, not less, the very opposite of what's happened, hence very little works. Our society is almost lawless now, it's who you know and they have to be Zanu. Is the mayor of Bulawayo under more public scrutiny than the mayor of Harare? There's your answer.
If you're doing a good job you should welcome comment, constructive or otherwise and be willing to answer questions.
If a white guy had phoned in there last night that conversation would have petered out, nobody believes we are potentially part of the solution, or wants us to be. Sad but true. We are guests because 50 years ago another generation treated Zimbabweans badly so we've lost the right to be equal.

I thought that when the Indian chap was chatting, he can get away with it though because everyone knows they’re cricket obsessed. I thought if I called in, blatantly murungu and throwing salamanders and k-longs into the conversation; jaws would drop and everyone would look at me like an alien who’d just touched down in Ruwa
whoever was running the show would be like okay… and swiftly moving on…

If Coltart had also thrown in nepotism, tribalism and favoritism it would have had more traction.
