I think mumba did very well in terms of control on a flat deck as well as getting two wickets. Hope he plays. Fresh blood needed

Nyumbu has been pretty miserable even in the domestic scene for a while and was taken to cleaners by the end of that spell. He needs to be kept aside and Mufudza / Wellington / Munyede / Chisoro should get A team opportunities now. We have rightly swept aside Mushangwe too. Cremer is not even being challenged for his national team spot at this rate.

Chibhabha not bowling was good enough to send him out of SL test contention. Final pieces for the XI coming together now...

Hmm yeah but who do you think should partner chari now? Chamu ,had been the elephant in the room all along, leaving hammy to be the scapegoat as always..Not sold on mawoyo either who doesnt want to get past the 30s
And thankfully with waller scoring some runs, raza can be comfortably shown the door atleast now.

Chari
?(i would personally go with hami)
Ervine
Williams
Waller
Moor
Richie (wk)
Cremer
Mumba
Tiripano
Chatara

Other change being richie coming in place of prince,is one worth making i assure you. Close enough you would say?

Perfect XI! Of course Hamilton would be there instead of the question mark. Another option is to give Moor the gloves and play Raza / Musakanda instead of Richie, but I think I would be happy with this line up.

I don't think Chatara's place is a given anymore, he's struggled and been largely ineffective since coming form his leg injury. I would substitute him with Vitori.

Not too sold on Richie either. Given that his wicket keeping is atrocious anyway, I will settle for the part-time of Waller or Moor then insert another batter, maybe Musakanda, if he makes runs this third innings.

I see Crimson has echoed my thoughts a few seconds before me. ;)

Richie,Chatara, Tiripano, Raza, Hami haven't done much to be in the sqaud. If Muskanda fires 50 tomorrow, I will take him. This would be my lineup:

Chari
Hami( experienced and better than the rest, and can bowl too)
Muskanda
Ervine
Williams
Waller
Moor
Cremer
Vitori
Mumba
Mpofu( removed the openers early, and took 3 wickets in the last match)

Our batting looks very strong. PJ, Waller and even Chari can take the gloves. One thing we should be worried about is this team doesn't have many part time bowlers. Williams need to bowl as much as he can. Muskanda can bowl too, but selectors might prefer Raza or Chibabaha as these guys can bowl a bit.

Great contributions from the seamers in these two games. Ntini doing some good work perhaps. Mpofu should lead the attack. Our lack of experience was badly exposed in the tests against New Zealand.

Musakanda making a strong case. Really needs to be blooded in asap.

Young musakanda currently on 47 not out. If he scores big today I think wallers spot is under threat. I think Ervine Williams and PJ are safe.
