Mataranyika's dad owns one of the big funeral parlours here I believe. Hugely wealthy family.
Nyaradzo group....the main sponsors of the U19's, conveniently!
Kid deserves to be there. Can't claim nepotism as he has been bowling well 😊
Oh absolutely! He's a good prospect for sure.

Most of our bowlers look pretty decent tbh - plenty of potential to work with.

Chirwa has a Murali flick. This guy could be really good.

If Bennet lands those darts just back of a length on 4th or off they're extremely hard to get away, you have to rock back and try and punch it thru cover, it's a tough shot. He drags the odd one down though and has no variation. He's a good containing bowler.

3 down. Faultless in the field so far. Stark comparison to PNG's efforts.

Mataranyika looks handy as well.
Then you have Mitchell with leggies.
Bennet, Mataranyika, Chirwa, Mitchell are the 4 spinners.
I guess that's why they're only playing one seamer.
The obvious guy to drop if you play another seamer is Mataranyika, but that ain't gonna happen.

A year of work and Chirwa could be our national spinner.
I really like what I see.

Aaah Schonken. Saw him in the line up. There's the mistake in selection. Falao or Dube need ro replace him.
