It's so bad from Bravo and Pollard. It really is.
They shouldn't be flattered anymore with even a call up to any West Indies national squad. Give it to guys who actually want to play for their country

Sad isn’t it , I couldn’t think of anything better than representing my country. Shows the sort of blokes they are , yes it’s a career but for god sakes it’s a freaking chance to help your country make a World Cup and be the difference! I bet if they qualify they will want to play at the World Cup and will publicly shame the selectors and West Indies board for not being picked. Pollard is over rated and a bit of a sooky bitch anyway , never really rated the bloke except for a decent cameo slog in the ipl.

If you get paid 10 times more money for less work what would you do ?

The WICB are more to blame than the players

Agreed but a World Cup should mean more than money , pollard ect make enough money to skip one tournament and help their struggling side out for a very important phase in windies cricket. Just my opinion

It’s gone past that sadly, the relationship between these t20 guys and the WICB is in bad shape. People will argue the players are greedy but for me I don’t blame them at all, surely with the amount of star quality amongst these guys the WICB could figure a way to market the side better and bring in more income?

I think that will now well and truly be the end of Dwayne. What a bloody waste.
Both a combination of poor man management from Cameron, Browne and the WICB, but also a lack of foresight from Dwayne Bravo.

Excuses like 'not strong enough yet to play international cricket,' (Bravo) or 'I don't feel like I'm ready for 50 over cricket yet with my action being as it is,' (Narine) and 'I'm dropping out due to personal reasons,' (Pollard) does suggest a lack of commitment, based on the fact that in the time they are supposedly unavailable, they're playing T20 none stop! There is a lack of commitment from these guys, I don't care how they butter it up, but at the same time the WICB have been shocking with their players. When Wavell Hinds was in the administration he was appallingly short in interviews around the time of the India series, 2014.

Which two teams do you want to take the other two spots available for the qualifiers? https://www.icc-cricket.com/media-releases/604943

The six teams with a shot at it are: Kenya, Namibia, Nepal, UAE, Canada and Oman

My choices would be Nepal and Namibia - because cricket has a great opportunity to grow there, and they are mostly made of local talent.
