I actually saw this on the telly, he was unlucky to get run out.

Obviously he would make the Zimbabwean team on his batting alone but if his bowling comes back a bit more he would nicely fill Chigs spot in the team.

His form will only return once he is wearing the Zimbabwe shirt.

What I have cone to realize is that if ZC just had their priorities in order and just paid their players right we would have Sean, the other Sean, arnoldus, and perhaps Murray, gary Bd james all in the team to choose from.

Players talk.

I've realized I can't hold gate towards Sean for not being with us. It sounds as if he was willing to take a small paycut to return home but not if there's no guarantee of being paid at all.

Jemisi wrote:Do you think the other Sean is just about pay? All sorts of Williams rumours are floating around. If the upswing continues, we will still be needing Ballance and other quality to be a part of the structure, otherwise it is hard to see us ever getting above 9th or 8th at the outside.

Is the other Sean about pay ? Probably not.

If he came back he would be no more than a squad player.

Sean Williams would walk straight back into the starting xi - or at least he should. He would help shore up our middle order or perhaps bat at 3.

Part of meis still looking pessimistically at some aspects of our game and setup, but the players keep doing smart things, they keep playing percentage cricket and they seem to have their heads in the right place. Whilst Williams s certainly in ur best 6 batsmen in both forms of the game, I worry about his mindset upsetting the balance of the dressin rooms. Speaking of Ballance, that guy seems to have himself sorted out. A nice 81* last night.
agreed jemisi brilliant point. also ballance we NEEED for the future he is sucha rare talent !

Ballance would certainly be an improvement over Mawoyo.

Good to see both Sean Ervine and Ballance performing well.
