Former players that live in Zimbabwe, and ones who don't.

Post by ZIMDOGGY »

For a bit of fun (and maybe a useful reference tool) lets make a list of those ex players that are still in Southern Africa but north of the Limpopo vs those who arent.

To keep it clean lets only include pre 2009 players and ones NOT involved in ZC in an real measure.
So that will exclude Campbell, bliggie,Hondo, Robin Brown etc

Ill start. Add below and ill update the definitive list.

Still in Zim:
Stuart Carlisle
Ian Butchart
Lance Malloch-brown
Barney Rogers
Gavin Rennie
Brian Murphy (surprisingly, as he moved to SA during his playing days)
Bryan Strang
Craig Wishart
Gavin Ewing
Guy Whittal
Richard Kaschula
Malcolm Jarvis (?)
Ray Price
Gary Brent
Doug Marillier
Trevor Gripper
Craig Evans

Not:
A Flower (Eng)
G Flower (Pak)
H Streak (Ban)
Paul Strang (NZ)
Gus Mackay (eng)
Eddo Brandes (Aus)
Henry Olonga (Eng)
Pat Jarvis (Ken)
Higgins (Eng)
Mbangwa (?)
Watambwa (Belg)
Ferriera (aus)
Travis Friend (ENG)
Dave Houghton (eng)
Duncan Fletcher (?)

in Zim: Taibu

abroad: Brighton Watambwa (Belgium) -- not entirely sure one can call him an ex-player, though. He still captains Belgium in his spare time away from his job.
