Bad team selection

There is no doubt that ZC tends to make a very poor team selection in all of the series that we play. Even when Whatmore and Zeihl were there, we continuously played guys like Mutumbami at 3, and also selected Muzarbani. Ntini and Taibu are following the same trend by picking up random players in the national team. Things would have been much different in the two NZ test matches had they sent stronger Zim Xi in the practice match and games against South Africa A. Zimbabwe isn't a very bad team, we still have potential match winners, but we clearly don't seem to play our best team. Few years ago, we didn't have Cremer nor Jarvis when we were winning test matches against Pak and went close against NZ.
In the recent series we selected Chinoyo, Nymubu, Muzarbani and their were talks about not selecting Williams and bringing Mpofu? People in ZC clearly don't have brains, any rational person can bring up a better squad than them. An interesting thing to note down is except few poor decisions( like picking Maruma and dropping Williams), Mangongo gave fair chances to new players such as Moor, Neville, Wellington,Mire and Chisoro. These guys are atleast better players and have won few games for us. Half of the current players should be demoted to Zim A or be made to play more domestic games. Chari,Mutumbami, Raza,Maruma etc. and bunch of our fast bowlers are not ready for the international games. Vusi, Waller, Chigs and Hami shouldn't be an automatic selection. These guys are very inconsistent and have failed for a decade now. We should just throw in some young guys. Taylor, Taibu and Williams represented Zim when they were very young and had no international exposures. Ives, Lake, Murray, Matgimu, Mashinge, Burl, Madhevere and other talented youngsters can't do worse than Chari or Mutumbami. If we can afford to pay Chigs 7500/month, then we surely can keep 3-4 young guys with that sum of money.
