ZC shelves ambitious Vic Falls stadium plan

Post by CrimsonAvenger »

Finally, as expected. More here: http://www.thezimbabwedaily.com/sport/8 ... -plan.html

Here's the funny part:
Former ZC chief executive officer Ozias Bvute said the Victoria Falls stadium was going to promote sport tourism, while ex-chairman of selectors Alistair Campbell said the venue would become an alternative to international tournaments that are held in Dubai.
1. What were they smoking?
2. What did they think people would be smoking to believe that?

Dumbest idea back then and just as dumb today.

I sad it from day one.

Honestly that's scary that was an actual idea for a broke cricketing board.

That's like if a billionaire took control of ZC and was bored and de died he wants to make a stadium next to his favourite waterfall.

I'm glad they were vaguely thinking about including a club house at the 12000 seater stadium, now that's forward thinking! Give that man a Bells!!
