Serious questions have to be answered....
What's wrong with Zim cricket?
Who to blame?
What's the way forward...
Look guys Musakanda, Moor, Burl, chatara & Mumba are the future & are getting beaten hands down by Afangsthan A ...
That's so sad
Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
Zimbabwe are finished once the current generation retire.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes
Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
Can Six Logan Cup Four Day Match & Six Pro 50 Odi for each of the four franchises will bring development to the game ??
A deep investigation should be done on the financial situation of ZC.
ZC should stop useless tournaments like ZPL and promote
youths, Seniors and club players in 10 team Pro 50. At
present it seems national team players, A team players,
Under 19s all lie in same boat their skills aren't look that they
are superior or of international class compared to local club
players, all seems have equal class , its better to promote
local club players with them in a 10 team pro 50, who is
good ? ? who is worst ?? results will come

Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
I agree. I'm all for club cricket, but ZC's number one priority should be the Logan Cup.
Let the clubs organise club cricket.
Let the clubs organise club cricket.
Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
You'll get me started on this club issue again. Everyone wants everything done for them. Just pitch up, perhaps begrudgingly pay $1. The problem is there's few people with organisational skills and ZC wants to control everything. Even if nothing is working as long as they're in control of nothing working they're happy.

Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
I've been a member of this forum for 9 years now and I can honestly say that Zimbabwean cricket is no more embarrassed by these results than it has been by all the disasters of those 9 years
Zim cricket has made no progress whatsoever at either admin or player level and is living on borrowed time, the progress of countries like Afghanistan and Ireland will enable the ICC to squeeze the trigger within the next couple of years without embarrassment to themselves, there are no countries that will put themselves out to support a financially and morally bankrupt organisation like ZC

Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
On the plus side, in this new era of political correctness and cultural enlightenment the ICC could never dare strip funding from Zimbabwe. That would be considered racist, sexist, xenophobic, you name it.
Re: Zimbabwe A embrassed by Arg A
BRM you are right there. They really would be considered every kind of "(prefix) phobe" in the book.
