Thats a great idea Ruswa. We dont have anything to lose by highlighting the POSETIVES of our "beloved" ZIMBABWE CRICKET!!!!
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Re: Positives (ideas) onto the new season
A few positives to come out of the win over Netherlands:
- Craig Ervine confirmed that he has the temperament required for First Class cricket which will hopefully translate into good performances in Test cricket.
- Rainsford led from the front opening the bowling by taking key wickets
- Chakabva's batting was impressive, he needs to bat higher up the order and Maruma needs to bat at about number 8.
- Under a bit of pressure to do well, there were some solid performances by Matsikenyeri

positives to the rocks would be the signing of matsi and taibu. Along with ervine they be a handy side this year.

Re: Positives (ideas) onto the new season
If they acquire one or two good bowlers they will be the strongest franchise this season. Sean Ervine, Craig Ervine, Taibu, Chamu Chibhabha, Steve Tikolo... and Eagles without Chigumbura. Positives from the Netherlands win:
Craig Ervine marked his class with the bat and proved that he's got both a solid temperament and technique for the first class game (And possibly test Cricket in time).
Stuart Matskinyeri worked hard at the top of the order and built a solid platform for Craig Ervine to get his century.
Ed Rainsford has once again proved that he's a genuine new ball threat, and sounded like he was bowling with some serious heat

If that's a dig at me mate then you need to calm down. I'm complimenting his hard work at the top of the order, though that doesn't automatically put him back in the international frame. He needs to prove himself at first class cricket before he makes a come back, if he ever doesZimfanatic69 wrote:sloandog wrote: Stuart Matskinyeri worked hard at the top of the order and built a solid platform for Craig Ervine to get his century.
Yet some people claim Matsi is not one of the top 55 cricketers in the country.
Astonishing some people's lack of judgement
