Sehwag slams 219
SRT did it in Gwalior and now Sehwag did it in Indore (same state). Not only Viru slammed double hundred but his 219 has raised the bar further higher for Coventry

Re: Sehwag slams 219
That was impressive Dr! Felt pity for the Windies, particularly Sammy - he had absolutely no idea what to do! That was painful
Considering the number of times that SA have murdered us as well, plus a few other top teams who've done the same to us on more than a couple of occasions, we should be wary of just how tough things will get for us as the opposition gets stiffer, especially when we play away. The WI, are a step ahead of us, so it can only be worse for us!
I forsee us returning to a four spinners(Price, Utseya, Lamb, Cremer), 1 seamer(Elton) strategy! No way we can survive playing in India/Sri Lanka with our youngsters part of the attack. Good thing the FTP means that eventually is postponed for at least half a decade, hopefully they'll have learnt how to bowl in the shorter games!
The sublime Coventry's come perilously close(194*) against the very poor Bangladesh; Taylor's gone to 145* against a second string SA attack; while Vusi's quickfire starts against weakened attacks of late, show promise of greater things to come. My bet is on one of those 3 to get there. I don't see Hami translating his dominance in Mountaineers colours to ODIs involving teams other than the associates, so I don't see him landing that one!

I think 220 is beyond any of our beloved Zimbos, unless Botswana wins ODI status or some similarly likely event.
