Zimbabwe A Sqaud Announced

Post by zimfan1 »

Vusi Sibanda (c) Regis Chakabva (wk) Chamu Chibhabha Kyle Jarvis Tafadzwa Kamungozi Friday Kasteni Timycen Maruma
Shingirai Masakadza Forster Mutizwa (wk) Samuel Mwakayeni John Nyumbu Ed Rainsford Gregory Strydom

Dont know if its 100% accurate but this is the sqaud that cricinfo have up for the Zimbabwe X1, but Kyle Jarvis is once again named which must confirm that he has at least returned to Zimbabwe cricket which is great news :D, and with the inclusions of Ed Rainsford and Sibanda it kind of hints at the other sqaud being true.

No Taibu??? Kenya are sheduled to play a warm up game before the game tomorrow as mentioned elsewhere in this forum. Perhaps we might just have to wait a bit longer for the final XI to take on Kenya.

dont think there is space fo any warm up game, with a tight schedule that we have
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today

The absence of Douglas Hondo from all of the team is worrying me. I think that he has got no intention to appear in the international cricket again. He was appointed as the assistant coach of Mashonaland Eagles and also playing franchise cricket for them. It seems that quite a same circumstances like Barney Rogers. It's sad that two of the experienced guys are overlooking international cricket but concentrating on other things :(
