Yeah, but it also matter how those runs have come. It is not like he is in some rich vein of form. He has lucked into those runs with the opposition dropping catches (could it be intentional to keep him there longer? ) and misfielding etc.

The only argument in Waller's favor is, may be we need to keep him till the qualifiers where he can, on his day, destroy the opposition.
