That is so very true, yet ...

... those early wickets made so nervous I started cleaning the bathroom ...

So what sort of target do we need to set to bat Bangladesh out of the game? 450? 500?

We've only got 317 so far at tea on day 3.

4/317 at Tea on Day 3. We can be pleased. We need to bat out the day and put it beyond them. Let the seamers sleep on their good work.

400 is sufficient for a declaration

I think another 100 would be great, but we shouldn't declare at that point unless rain is coming. Make the BD bowlers do more work, make them chase more leather and get some confidence into Chigs. We could easily declare just before lunch tomorrow if we were travelling well with a target of 470.

Fair point. We had to really grind to bat for 150 overs... the Bangladeshi's like to play their shots so you'd like to think they'd have a hard time batting for that long. So a declaration by lunch tomorrow (hopefully not an all out...) should be good.

Unless the guys are going to go hell for leather in this evening session so they can take the new ball tomorrow morning, make use of the famous first hour at HSC?
