Agree. It has been very challenging. I had all but given up with the state of affairs as it was before my 5th and 6th picks. Sean Williams and Ray Price calmed my nerves a bit. It is a good leveler. I feel jaybro and I will be left with a lot of rubbish by the time it comes back to us again
Yes we have the last two picks; but I feel more comfortable now than I did a few picks back
Tell you what, that Kevin Curran pick is an inspirational one. I thought I had an ace up my sleeve for the next round. That should have felt so good when you picked him!

Yeah I had my eye on him and was tempting to leave him till next round, but 6 picks at this stage was too risky

His numbers were irresistible

With the 23rd pick, I select the great Zimbabwean all-rounder, Duncan Fletcher. Fletcher will also serve as captain of the team. I am honestly surprised Kevin Curran went before Fletcher, I think Fletcher was the better player. Perhaps people forget about guys from the 80s?

KC and DC were from pretty much the same era; they played in 83* world cup together, I had my eye on Fletcher too and I was under the impression DC was the better player, remembering I haven't seen either man play. But in consultation with my 'secret selector' I was infromed that indeed KC was the better player; as his career numbers would suggest.

Solid pick none the less but that was my thinking on the selection.

I was also looking for KC ahead of DF not based on who was better, but in my case, I was just looking for more of a bowling allrounder than a batting allrounder. And yes, I too had DF in mind once KC got away. Those two played a unique role and would be useful in a team like the one we have today.

And I predicted 3 out of the 4 choices correctly after my pick this time. I had expected Fletcher, Hamilton and Chatara to be picked.

I'm torn between two names, and I know if I pick one, you'll gobble up the other :D. So giving it a bit of a detailed thought now that I have lost both KC and DF.
