nothing like logging on for the first time in the afternoon and seeing Zimbabwe heading for a big win. Well played to Hammie he learnt from his 100 against bangladesh and went on to bat out most of the innings as good little camoes at the end from Chappie, BT and Elty. Looks like Jarvis has lived up to all the hype, i think Heath Streak played a big part in getting him in the side and hopefully he will take him under his wing. Good bowling from the spinners Utseyas just picked up his third but the worry i have about the attack is the balance, we despreatly need a batting seem bowling allrounder, Sean Ervine anyone

I've not been able to follow todays match very closely, but it looks good to me

Brilliant innings from Hamilton Masakadza, the man is scoring some big runs this season, that's his 3rd score of 150+ so far, but i was really happy to see that all the batsmen scored runs and backed him up, too often it's a case of leaving it all to one man but today was a very good team performance, it would be with Rhino Taylor to help him though

Great start for Kyle Jarvis as well, these quick wickets should give him something of a confidence boost for Bangladesh where it will be a lot more difficult for him, well done to Prosper Utseya as well. I've been one for having him dropped because i simply don't think he's been producing the goods for some time, 3 wickets today though, good answer to those of us that have been doubting you Prosper.

The only downside to me today seems to be the sloppy amount of extras given away again, 8 wides and 5 no balls at the moment which could be the difference between winning and losing in a tight match.

im going to be a bit crictical hear but why is Utseya bowling the part timers, this is the problem i have with his captaincy he lacks the killer instinct to finish opponents off.

I think Bangladesh is a massive series, if we win i think it will really accelerate out test return, and i think we have a decent chance as there spinning tracks with our three man spin attack may well suit our style of play more than the belter at Queens

Unfortunately for us Bangladesh play spin much better than pace. I think we are better to go with a pace attack against Bangladesh if possible.
