“They all met and discussed (1) to oppose the formation of the Big Three (2) the revenue sharing system (supporting India to have its major share) from the ICC and (3) ensure that Zimbabwe does not lose Test status”
Zimbabwe may not loose their test status.
but, in the long run if they not improve their performance they likely not to get invited for overseas tour and may end of playing odi and t20. Everyone knows, the BCCI decides to pull the plug,ZIM cricket would be dead. I clearly see them been getting beaten by Zimbabwe 5 nil and one nil in test.
ICC politics at play here.. India will just provide a tour every year plus guarantee test status for us and we will be on their side no matter what.. those reforms were never going to be passed.India has something on a lot of countries. watch them push for Afghanistan to get accepted so that they can increase their vote.
the best the other side can probably do is launch the conference system in tests they initially proposed and host the ashes separately from the system.
BCB is worried they will come after their test status next, lol. I dont blame them...the top 8 champions trophy and auto qualification was done to keep Bangladesh out, not necessarily for meritocracy.
