Ian nicholson plays grade cricket in mildura(Aussie).Had a chat with him the other day,he doesnt wanna come back to ZIM for another year till things become stable..

Meanwhile it does look like the ZC have approached Bryan Strang,he will soon be joining a franchise team(not decided till now),but it seems that he will play rather than coach.He thinks he still has a lot to give to the game.
Will be great if he is back soon,with all the experience he has,he can help few of the youngsters.

I like the passion of Bryan Strang. It would be great to have him as an experienced player in the team and importantly when he thinks that he has got many to offer as a player.

He was born in Bulawayo according to his CricInfo profile and played for Mashonoland. Mashonaland Eagles has already got many seamers and I don't think Mountaineers will pick him. So that means Rocks/Rhinos or Tuskers (Born in Bulawayo)

i have a bad news about campbell macmillian though..It was mentioned that he was interested in playing again but it seems he is not at all interested in playing for Zim again guys..
The list of players who are interested in playing but are not currently in the country due to other reasons are
1)Ryan bennett.
he works for BMW in UK but will be back on a holiday in ZIM in dec.he wants to play but will have to do a lot of work to be fit because the last time he played a game was an year back
2)Roland Benade
he is UK right now..he will be back in ZIM in nov and is very keen on playing cricket again.
3)Prosper Tsvanhu
he is in varsity right now and will be back in ZIM in dec.Even if he plays,he will play for a short time because he wants to complete his education first.
4)Bradley staddon
he is in NZ right now and the season ends only in March.Thts explains why he is not playing in his uncles team.so i think he can play in the 20-20
5)Gerald Aliseni
well in his case,the question is who he wants to play for.Its upto him,ZIM or South Africa?he will be back in ZIM on a holiday soon,so if any franchise is able to sign him then there are chances tht he might play for Zim but if they fail then i doubt he will play for ZIM again.he can easily solve ZIM's pace problems.
6)Andre Usian bolt delport
well i don't really knw who he is.his cricketinfo says he played for midlands

he is studying in South Africa rite now and he wants to play for Zim once he gets his degree.It seems he was offered to play for Rhinos.
7)Bryan Strang
well of all the players who want to play,he is the only one in ZIM right now.he teaches in harare and has shown keen interest to play again.
I think dec can be a month in which plenty of players can be signed by the franchises.These are the players who i knw r interested in playing again but there can be many more who want to play again.Christmas celebrations can c many players back in ZIM..

sorry mate m not sure whats going on back home i just keep up to it all via the scorcards on cricinfo.i talk to a couple of guys who are there playing and thats about it.
keep enjoying the game without me,as 4 when i play again god knows will just take each day as it comes..

I think the news tht Grant Flower and Andy Blignaut returning might just help him make a decision if he wants to come back or no.I think he and few others are not sure if things back in Zim are stable or no and i dont blame them.With whatever has happened in the past,you have to be sure tht everything is alright b4 playing there again.

Kartik thanks again, I think he, Aliensi, S.Ervine, de Grandhomme, Ireland and Ballance are the most important potential returnees.

The one player I'm surprised hasn't appeared yet is Allen Mwayenga. He is listed in the Mountaineers squad but hasn't played yet. His brother, Waddington, played for Worcester 2's last year but also doesn't appear to be returning.

i told walter my dream was to inspire a whole generation jus like how streak and andy did..but a lot of complications arised. i didnt fail coz i havent given up on my dreams whether i achieve 'em in SA or in zim..i hope to play for zimbabwe one day as i know i can offer them sumthang any1 else couldnt...but its up to the admin and myself to agree and ill provide u fans wit the enertainment u missed..all e best to e lads in bangladesh..bobby, bundu, kyle do me proud..my dream was to open the bowling wit heath..but its not possible nw but workin wit him would b sumthang i would cherish and i think its possible..i jus have to perform and hopefully ZC will gimme a call..hopefully it will b my hero heath..lol..

You are also missing the chance to create history. Look at what Sean Williams, Cremer, and Chibhabha have already experienced and achieved and they are only a year older than you. It's a short career and the clock is ticking.......
