Few of the cricket experts here, were worrying about Rising Stars Performance in debut game of Logan Cup. Suggestions were coming about distributing the players of Rising Stars to other franchises and include Southern Rocks, few were suggesting Jarvis, Taylor and Mire to include in ZRS as they are "inexperienced ".

Look at the " EXPERIENCED " Tuskers side performance, they are wobbling at 144/7.
Inexperienced Stars are still doing well in their debut game, then vastly experienced useless Tuskers Side.

It will be better now, to distribute Tuskers players to various franchise from next year :D

Mayavo is regarded by most, if not all as the best gloveman in the country. I think a lot of development will be put into him this season.
I also had him in my XI for Rhinos. Moor is probably a poorer keeper than Kasuza. He shouldn't be in keeper discussions at all really. Desperation gives rise to his relevance, but like the non-spinners ZImbabwe employ, it's more beneficial to just use a specialist. In the end what hey leak is way more than the runs they score.

The fact that Aarsh Jha, Ziwira, Akram are playing FC cricket ahead of Hondo and Diplock is astounding. It’s a massive slap to their faces. Those three don’t even make 1st league sides.

Ya absolutely diabolical. Two steps forward and three backwards. Clueless. Someone should look into this.

The ZRS being schooled here. Now begs the Question what kind of opposition were they blowing apart in the Uk and was the project even worth it. If their participation in the Logan Cup is Graduation day then its really starting off on a bad note. Hope they pick up from here.
How does ZCF manage to aggressively disgree with me and andrubbish it, then go to agree with me like this.

This was always going to happen. I've been complaining about it for a long time now. Certain players were going to miss out purely because Taibu took some boys to play pub cricket in Liverpool. They had to justify wasting so much money.

In no other country's cricket will you witness so much stupidity. This is like SA putting a varsity select into FC cricket simply because they toured India and played some village clubs.

We all know Tary & Burl are good batters but if by the end of the season young Tinashe & Taffy have scored some runs then we achieved something.
Will they automatically replace Malcolm and Sean just like Mumba and Ngarava have done to senior accomplished bowlers?

The first year the CA XI was in the Aussie domestic comp they were slaughtered too.

To be honest though, 10/168 is not a total disaster. Rhinos are already 2/22 so it might be a bad pitch (probably not though). But let's see how Taylor and Waller bat, that'll probably be the biggest indicator.

That's what I thought too. We have seen worse scores from Rocks, Rhinos and Tuskers over the years. This is decent to begin with.

This could turn out to be a costly failure for Mire from the WI tests viewpoint especially if Chibhabha gets into run scoring mode later today.

That's the point. Even in ENG they picked the MCC/Unicorns I think. List A makes sense, but you can't devalue and undermine your domestic FC this way. there shoul dbe laws against such. It's hard to earn FC status.

In fact, ICC should actually seriously consider stripping ZImbabwe of its FC because of this.

In the history of all the times when Zimbabwe has devalued First Class cricket, this wouldn't even rate a mention.
