The Tuskers ‘useless Spinners’ Williams and Raza take 3 each as Tuskers win
I wonder if Hhm still wants Raza & Williams dropped after scoring hundreds and taking wickets ??

Lets not forget Zhuwao scoring back to back 50s as well. For someone who never gets a chance he has been very loyal.

Let them play against WI and SA, plus bowl a lot. We'll talk after that.

The "quotas" will embarass them just as they did Bangladesh's best which are easily superior to this duo!
Re: [Logan Cup 2017 Round 1] Eagles v Tuskers
The point being is there anyone else who can make the runs and bowl the overs to replace them ??
You’d have to pick 4 players to replace Raza & Williams

Let’s get a few things straight here before old mate gets too excited
1. Raza and Williams are in the side for their batting
2. No one is saying Williams and Raza are going to ‘run through South Africa’. Much better bowlers have been punished by them so no need to start comparing them to Mahmudallah or anyone else.
3. Zimbabwe should ( most likely will ) pick 3 seamers against South Africa so Williams & Raza will only bowl if the seamers don’t make an impact ( most likely will happen ).
4. No one is comparing Cremer to Shane Warne ( apart from yourself ) it’s very clear Cremer has his short comings as a test spinner so it’s very likely he will struggle against South Africa, but please tell me a spinner that has done well in South Africa in recent times ??
5. Williams & Raza will bowl more against the Windies because the pitch will suit spin.
6. Zimbabwe will more than likely struggle in the South Africa Test as better sides have done like Bangladesh. Even if they picked an attack of Tinashe, Shingi, Chatara & Wellington plus Vusi in the middle. You could argue the result could be worse.
7. Beating or drawing against the Windies is more achievable goal for Zimbabwe.

Let us not digress. Please list the "plenty of frontline Eagles players" missing. What is the point of such slanderous allegations?

In the Test, Williams scored a total of 27 runs in both innings against SA, but conceded 104 runs in 28 overs - a nett of 77 runs(both Vusi and allrounder Mutumbami outscored him by almost double). Even if you factor in his 2 wickets, there's no way Wellington Masakadza would have been this useless to get 2/77 while Chatara and Panyangara went for nothing. Wellington is a far more economical and far more threatening spinenr than Nyumbu. Williams was a liability, so even being picked for scoring runs is a lie because he normally doesn't!
Brendan Taylor in his stupidity felt Williams was a spinner good enough to bowl so many overs in a Test match!

Moving over to the ODI, Nyumbu opened the bowling and did well. Utseya came in and did even better. Both of them again against SA. Both Raza and Williams top scored for ZIM, with Malcolm adding 20 runs - 101 runs combined, but all of them failed to get wickets in the 13 overs they wasted for 54 runs. It was a stupid decision too pick Mawoyo ahead of Vusi, and unfortunately Taylor bumped into a top(but underrated) spinner. But one would think that a Chisoro plus Panyangara(bowled out) being present, plus those two batsmen chipping in with the runs, would actually have resulted in a ZIM win.
The fact of the matter is - AND WILL ALWAYS BE - that unless Raza, Williams and Malcolm are picked and dropped solely for their batting and never bowled unless extreme desperation calls for it, they will be a liability for Zimbabwe and nothing more. Just one specialist spinner in place of one of those 3 guys who are prevented from bowling, would actually have made a difference to Zimbabwe's results.
You can deny it for as long as you want but the match scorecards after every game will continue to remind you of that fact.

Once again you have failed to READ WHAT OTHERS HAVE WRITTEN Hhm
I was referring to games in South Africa these games were played both in Zimbabwe in spin friendly pitches, also Utseya was cheating in this match so you can’t really give him credit as he had an unfair advantage over his opponents.
I’ve pointed this out to you many times that you fail to read what others say then go off on a tangent only to look foolish in the mean time
