Cremer picks up one before Bangladsh finish it of with a great top spinner well bowled sir lets hope you get some support from the batsman in the next game.
Intresting to see Heath Streaks emotions in that match he was very animated and kept on trying to suggest things to Hamilton, this is what the head coach should be doing and what was walter doing? sitting down quietly in the corner, now theres a man who knows its time to pack his bags.

I guess with people like Alastair Campbell and Heath Streak involved, what could Walter Chawaguta even say? He wouldn't have anything to offer that the other two wouldn't have already thought of. I think Walter is just a figurehead at the moment. I can't imagine he will stay in the post for much longer.

Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe - 3rd ODI
Missed the whole lot today, 4 wickets sounds better than the last game but, just on statistics, it looks as though we got a closer result than maybe was deserved.
I'm genuinely pleased for Jarvis today, i thought he would have been better off having a break after the last few games, he'd gone from 3-36 on debut to 7-287 before this match and i was getting worried that another big lot of runs off him could really dent his confidence, i've no doubt that Heath Streak has a tiny bit more experience than i do, so hopefully having him around will get Jarvis settled in and firing on all cylinders, being 1-2 down now the players will need all the confidence they can get before tuesday.
I'm glad to see Taylor back in the opening spot but can't quite understand why Chibhabha dropped all the way down to 8.
Big effort needed for the last two games, no way have the Bangladeshis won this series yet.

Today while watching the game I felt so happy in seeing a Zim bowler hitting the deck hard...Jarvis has a big future to offer.
But I was very disappointed with the way Chibabha batted today. He played as if he had no clue of spin bowling.
I seriously believe that Chibabha should be dropped in the next match and a genuine bowler may be Mpofu should be brought in. That will ease the pressure of Chigumbura and he can bat up the order as a batting all rounder.

Chibhabha is not really a player of international calibre. Occasionally he puts in a good performance with the bat or ball but most of the time he looks out of his depth.
At least Cremer and Jarvis played well today.

I don't understand? Streak is now part of the set up. Please! Are you so certain Walter Chawaguta is to blame here?zimfan1 wrote:Think this series has sealed the fate of Walter Chawaguta, bring on the Heath Streak led side which hopefully will play like little Streaks, full of pride and passion and most importantly learning to adapt to diffrent situations!!!!!!
This derision for other people is worrying, and I will go on to suggest, at the risk of being very unpopular, that is has something to do with an inferiority complex.
Not so long ago it was Prosper, and just yesterday I saw a post yearning for his return. "I think we gonna miss Prosper here." I couldn't believe it!

Well, I was the one who said that we would miss Utseya, and it was clear from the kind of pitch we were playing on. And I don't think too many people here are against Prosper the player, but are against the indecisive captain that he is. The best thing that can happen to Zim cricket, especially in ODIs is to have Utseya play without the burden of captaincy. He is too good a bowler to lose.Conant wrote:Not so long ago it was Proper, and just yesterday I saw a post yearning for his return. "I think we gonna miss Proper here," it said. He was bowling in between 125-133 km/h....but his short balls are very effectiveHoro wrote:How fast was kyle jarvis bowling during the game?
