10)PJ Moor
Is injured at the moment but has been offered a contract to play for the Eagles.
He tore his anterior cruciet ligaments in his knee playing rugby! So had an operation about six months ago... was pretty serious. Sicne then he has been in the nets, just cant run yet. But its coming right. Hopefully he will be able to go to the world cup in january.

Excellent work, Kartik. Keep it up ! :)

I would like to know a couple of things:

1. We were hinted that Douglas Marillier was a player to return. Do you know why he didn't return or was offered any contract by any franchise ? He is working in Real Estate in Zimbabwe and played for ''Red Lions'' in the Winter Premier Cricket League before the start of the franchise season.

2. Barney Rogers seems to appear only in the List A matches for Mashonaland Eagles. Why not in the FC match ? Isn't he interested in making himself available for national selection ?

3. Does Douglas Hondo want to play in the international cricket again ?

PREMIER LIMITED OVERS CHAMPIONSHIP
Round 1 - 24th October 2009

White section
Suburbs New Lynn v Eden Roskill - Ken Maunder Park 3a
Suburbs New Lynn cemented themselves as the form team as they backed up their Twenty20 Championship win with a dominant victory over Eden Roskill on home soil. Suburbs won the toss and went straight to work with Black Cap Martin Guptill (57) and Ace's opener Jeet Raval (90) putting on 115 runs for the first wicket. Jimmy Neesham (33), Johnny Bassett-Graham (31) and Daryl Tuffey (30) all chimed in to help take Suburbs New Lynn through to an impressive 291/6. An excellent 71 by Brad Staddon had Eden Roskill in the hunt at 122/4 however another strong bowling performance by Jimmy Neesham (3/23) meant Eden Roskill could never break free and eventually finished on 209/8.

Suburbs New Lynn 291/6 (Jeet Raval, Martin Guptill 57, Jimmy Neesham 33, Johnny Bassett-Graham 31, Daryl Tuffey 30) defeated Eden Roskill 209/8 (Brad Staddon 71, Joe Castelino 33, Jimmy Neesham 3/23) by 82 runs.

Well justin gaisford is surely thinking abt it.I m sure if all is well in Zimbabwe then both of them will come back.Justin gaisford is in Australia right now and plays for a very good side.Another player michael brundle plays cricket in Australia.
i hope these guys come back
One interesting thing tht i noticed on fb is tht nathan waller's relationship status shows tht he is married.Well must have been a real love story man.he is just 18 or 19.
Keegan Taylor who played cricket few years back, sadly doesn't play cricket anymore. But one thing tht i wanna ask here is how many players go abroad to study man?Are there no good universities in Zim??

I am glad to see the number of cricket players joining the Facebook group. It was the main reason I set the group up.
