Shame Vermeulen has gone so soon, i was very much hoping he would get some runs on the board against the faster SA bowlers.

I'm not unhappy about the SA score, 295 is probably too many to expect much chance of a Zim win, but it certainly looks better than a 300+ score, anyone know why Chigumbura didn't bowl today ?

I hope the batsmen try and put a reasonable score on the board even if we don't last the whole 50 overs, i really didn't like the old idea of hanging on to the end and finishing with something like 148-8.

Why is it that the underdog so often has to fight the umpires as well as the opposition, SA are quite good enough as it is without getting the borderline decisions as well

McLaren got help from Koertzen for his debut wkt, Mpofu also needs luck from both the umpires and Srinath probably to fulfill TrainDriver's wish.

Looks as though it will be down to Mpofu after all, although he may need some help from Superman, Batman and Indiana Jones as well as the umpires

Nice to see that Matsikenyeri and Taibu are sticking around and putting up a fight anyway, i guess it really makes no difference if a ridiculous Duckworth/Lewis target is set when the rain stops, as we stand about as much chance of winning as the Zimbabwe Dollar stands of being voted the worlds strongest currency of the last decade ........

My crystal ball tells me bring on Christopher Mpofu, him and the Legend will take us home with at least an over to spare
