Yeah the Irish might just be faves to win the whole thing. The Windies are just a joke of a team. They should be pummeling the shit out of every team here instead there is a strong chance they won't even be one of the top 3 teams at the tournament.

After yesterdays performance I wouldn't disagree with you either.Kriterion_BD wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 12:27 amYeah the Irish might just be faves to win the whole thing. But people need to realise that Afganistan have a world class bowling attack with serious variation. Their batting is the weak link

If the weather holds we're in for a really exciting tournament--more exciting in fact than a World Cup.

Yea the World Cup is now essentially a glorified Champions Trophy!foreignfield wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 9:06 amIf the weather holds we're in for a really exciting tournament--more exciting in fact than a World Cup.

Buckle your seatbelts gents ! It’s going to be crazy. Let’s start hoping rain stays away. We have the ability to beat Afg easily if we stuff up their batting quickly ! We just can’t afford to slip up vs the smaller sides. I have a feeling Afg and Windies are gonna be shocked once in the group stages. The Windies almost deserve to be knocked out, they just seem so over life. Who’s our next warm up game against by the way?

Carlos Brathwaite said on record they weren't happy about being there, they wanted direct entry. Well, sorry bud, but if you play the way you have been for the past two years, what right do you have to be there? The arrogance of some of these West Indians is amazing.Flakeman wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 11:04 amBuckle your seatbelts gents ! It’s going to be crazy. Let’s start hoping rain stays away. The tournament deserves the climax of proper knock-out matches (semis) for the qualifying spots. I hate nothing more in cricket than when NRR comes into play and one team has the benefit of knowing exactly what they have to do in their final match while the other can only sit and watch.

I still can’t believe we won’t be able to watch us play. That is simply awful by ZC, at least get a semi decent video feed set up? It’s really not that difficult.
