It's just dawned on me that Rogers wasn't in the Eagles XI for last weekends rain affected Faithwear match.
That means the last game he played was against Rocks on October 5th, anybody know if he is injured, dropped or decided he no longer wants to play ?

Steady on there CrimsonAvenger
i'm delighted to be on the same wavelength as yourself, but SUPPORT EAGLES
whatever can you be thinking ...........
An enormous loss to Zim cricket if he's decided to call it a day, but fair play to him, no doubt he's built a different life for himself since early 2005 and the old fire may no longer be there, good luck to him whether he continues to play or not.

But coming back to Barney, yes, he was destined to achieve greater things. He was definitely a class apart, as we observed in his first stint. He probably took a solid decision as soon as he left the scene, and attack on his parents a year or so ago might not have helped things either

Re: Barney Rogers
Barney Rogers is a great loss to Zimbabwean cricket. He was good enough to be selected before the rebels even went on strike, making his debut before the 2003 World Cup.
