Re: [Match Thread] Mountaineers v Tuskers (Logan Cup)
Play has restarted in Mutare with Gavin Ewing giving Shingi Masakadza and Njabulo Ncube some stick.
Bornaparte Mujuru has fallen to Donald Tiripano for 11 and Dion Ebrahim has just been run out for 4, Ewing is 44* from 30 balls with Mbekezeli Mabuza the new batsman,Tuskers are 63-2 from 7.5 overs.
cricinfo seems to have disappeared into hyperspace again, so no telling whether this info is true or not .......

Re: [Match Thread] Mountaineers v Tuskers (Logan Cup)
Play in Mutare as well now, Mountaineers well on top as Tuskers have lost 3 wickets today.
Coventry 24, Strydom 7 and Dabengwa 32 the men to go so far with wickets to Ncube, Shingi Masakadza and another run out, strangely cricinfo are crediting Shingi with all 3 run outs in the innings, do we have another Colin Bland ?
Meth 4* and Mupariwa 3* as Tuskers struggle at 165-7 in the 43rd over

Re: [Match Thread] Mountaineers v Tuskers (Logan Cup)
Close of play on day 2 and Tuskers are 189-9 from 59 overs, i make that 4 points to Mountaineers and 1 point for Tuskers so far.
Mupariwa 15* and Nyumbu 0* are the last two batsmen and Mupariwa is actually the highest run maker of the day, best of the bowlers is Maruma with figures of 14-6-26-3.
So that's about 120 overs lost so far, it will take something quite unusual in the next 2 days to stop this game drifting to a draw
