Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v West Indies HSC
Ok so the ICC bring their own groundsman! Didn’t know that.

Sheesh that kills the home ground advantage.

I think that’s our groundsman sitting next to him. I guess he gets info from him, all clay is different, how much water it needs, grass cover etc. But as a fact they’ve prepared this pitch for the West Indies, there’s absolutely no escaping that.

Definitely not a pitch Zim would have chosen for today.

So ICC need to be investigated. Panicking because WI looking shaky and questions will be asked if they don’t make it. Full of shit in my opinion

Well I imagine that since all the debate in these parts is whether Mire should open or come down late in the innings, that he will assume the number 7 position and come in late in the innings to hit. He’s lost in the middle overs.

I hope there’s not enough water under there and it breaks up and it turns square. Needs to happen now.

I agree.
But in other news, I'm feeling pretty optimistic here at the moment. 111-3 and the wicket looks good...perhaps a little too good? Having said that, I think we should show our boys some respect and some faith. The bowling has been nothing short of a revelation these past few weeks and I don't see why it has to stop now. If we get a score on the board, ideally around 250, we have a very strong chance. It's just the Lewis/Gayle factor which we need to be wary of, hence why I would open with the bean pole and KJ. But if saw Chisoro with the new ball I wouldn't be annoyed, he's been fantastic and very 'in your face'.

Honestly what would we do without Taylor ? He’s a world class bat and has been worth every penny and proved why this tournament . I don’t mind mire coming in later and still have raza to come , williams is far playing his role perfectly. Come on boys

Indian and English cricket is a cult and bazball is delusional and embarrassing. Bumrah chucks it, Cummins has a shocking seam position, stokes is a fraud. Bangladesh shouldn’t have test status, Bradman was a coat.Marco Jansen is good, zim will rise !
