I'm not really up to date with the Afgahnistan unit, but i'm guessing that we should be beating them. Lets hope our batsmen can find some form before the tournament begins.

There a good side, raw but very talented. I fear an embarrassment in this match may be on the cardssloandog wrote:I'm not really up to date with the Afgahnistan unit, but i'm guessing that we should be beating them. Lets hope our batsmen can find some form before the tournament begins.![]()

But a decent start with Tendai Chatara taking an early wicket 10-1 of 3.3

Won by 4 wickets good confidence win for the boys but once again no 50+ scores which is a concern. Looks like the side who played today will be the side which starts of against Canada. Chitara and Price are forming a good combination up front with Waller as the third seemer with Higgins, Mugava as the spinners.
Other results to note is that a Bangladesh side which we competed with in their own conditions in November beat Australia and a weak Hong Kong side beat Canada.
On a bad note Sri Lanka beat India and New Zeland beat England

I have been following these warm up games very closely and i think there is not much between all the top 10 teams. On their day zim can beat any of these teams. If one considers that we sent a weakend team to bangladesh and it gave them a good run for their money .The same bangladesh team is for me the hot favourate to win the tournament cause they beat Australia and New Zealand.Using this as a measure of strength, our boys will pull out some surprising results. One thing for sure this team will not shame us like the one before.Well done to cricket zimbabwe for preparing the boys well as they must be the best prepared zim under 19 in history. Looking forward to watching the game live on tv

What a wonderful sight it is to log on for the first time today and see that our up and coming starts have gained even more confidence through beating Afghanistan, who are no muggs according to Zimfan1
A good sight.
Also looking forward to seeing PJ Moore. Lets hope he can fulfill his potential in this tournament.

Yeas am aswell Muyendesi. It'll be interesting to see as to how these youngsters can perform infront of the cameras. I'm sure i sound like a broken record in saying this, but i'm really looking forward to see the opening partnership with the new ball from Callum Price and Tendai Chatara. Two very good prospects for the fast bowling department i've been toldmuyendesi wrote: Looking forward to watching the game live on tv
