Game in the balance. If we bat another 2 sessions I think we will be in with a good chance. Chakabva was looking good out there today so maybe we can pull it off. I think 350 is a really good score. We should aim for that.

Well I think we won that last session. Slightly behind on the day.

Regis was looking as good as I have seen him in ages.

Moor needs to find that innings you were talking about BRMT

BD's day, but we're slightly ahead of where I expected us to be.

If these two get us to 280, you'd hope the leftovers can get us to 320. Hopefully that's the worst case scenario at this point.

Best case scenario is 400, should these two both make big half centuries and the lower order chip in too.

Ahh what a day I watched every single ball didn't miss one (don't think I've ever done that before) I get way too nervous when Zimbabwe bat to come on the forum lol

My findings -

Chari terrible shot really really bad, I can't understand how he plays before Ervine & Burl. Moor or Burl could have opened instead of Chari, infant anyone could have it's not a dangerous pitch for seamers.

Surprised we left two lefties on the bench considering they have two SLA bowlers.

Hamilton showing he is still the best opener in the land.

Moor really showed great mental strength to not panic despite his strike rate.

Williams played so well I was devastated he missed his hundred.

I think Bangladesh probably won the day slightly but in the overall match state I think Zimbabwe is in a good spot considering they will bowl last, need to get to 300 minimum, maybe 350 if Moor and Regis can stick together

We could have opened with Tiripano and it would have been a better decision than what we went with.

Tiripano is highly hyped club standard. Does'nt have that batting or bowling, next once in a blue moon performer after Chibhabha.

And that would have been better than Chari.

Averages 10 more than Chari at Test level though

There is nothing in the pitch.
Fully inexperienced bowling attack.

Zimbabwe needs to find a quality opening batsman in three formats of the game, if they are struggling they should be positive in trying with make shift openers in form of Burl or Musakanda.

In this season, target should be grooming seam bowling allrounders, probables should be Mashinge, Jongwe & Faraz Akram

Burl ought to open domestically and solve the problem
