Mavuta gives it a lot of flight and gets dip. I can’t see what speed he’s bowling at though. He bowls the odd wicket taking delivery for sure but he’s never going to build up pressure, he’s way way too inconsistent.
We’ve got a few runs to play with so he must bowl, but he’s got a lot of work to do.

What a start from both bowlers but especially from Tendai Larry Chatara![]()

But we are still not out of jail by any means. When I said top 4, I expected Mushfiqur to come in at 4. So, these two are top class players and our best bowlers need a break as they settle in for the grind...
That was an absolutely disgusting over from Mavuta. Easing all the pressure built up.
Masakadza should have bowled himself. This could still end up becoming a long day... No backup for our opening pair.

I’d also have two guys in close. We’ve got runs to play with and another wicket now would be gold. I’d be talking a lot of shit to Rahim as well, he really dishes it out.

Happy to be proven wrong, but would have kept one pacer on rather than going straight to two spinners. Needed to keep the pressure up, but now Bangladesh will have an opportunity to settle down, and build a partnership.
Very one dimensional and predicted captaincy from Hammy here.
Hope this is not another one of those where we find ourselves in a good position and then let the opposition back in to the game.

This is where we need Utseya or Price. Our spinners can’t bowl 4 good balls on the trot

I'm guessing Chatara would be back for another spell before tea, but they are easing themselves in already. Introducing the leggie as first change was not the brightest idea. Himself or Williams to choke runs further would have been better.

I'm sorry but Mavuta is bowling shit here. All the pressure is gone. This is so frustrating
