[Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
What odds on us getting to stumps unscathed?
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
I would have sent out mavuta instead of hami
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
Can Chari actually bat, he averages 25 in FC. But does he actually have a decent technique, gets unlucky etc?
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
pretty good now
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe : 1st Test, Sylhet
When was the last time we won 2 sessions in a row so convincingly?
Wellington and Mavuta didnt do much. The selections for the second test are going to be interesting. I would bench both of them and add Mpofu and Ervine

They have to give Burl a run. He can bowl a bit as well.

We’re going to have to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory to lose from here.
Day 4 we need spinners, even if they’re not landing them regularly.

Burl really does need to step up and make a claim up the top of the order.
Otherwise he’s competing with BT,Tari, Willo, Ervine, raza, moor and maybe even Regis for a middle order spot when there’s one glaring open spot there waiting for SOMEONE to step in.
As for the game,
If Zimbabwe can bat the whole day (this is big because it forces Bangladesh to bat right in the end and if they can amass at least 220 doing so in that time they will win this.
220 is the magic number for sealing the deal. 200 should be enough and I’d be confident with that provided they see out day 3 but 220 will be the fat bitch singing for mine.

Glad to see Chatara and Jarvis opening together in a test. Get Cremer back and the attack is decent.
