Rahim is going to get out sweeping that length. Hammy needs another slip.

Almost perfect sweep from Mushy.
Followed by a premeditated one that makes him look foolish.
But the first one was just the right length, he got the ball on the downswing so it was hit straight into the ground, but the placement and timing was enough to get it past the deep square leg fielder for 4.

Why try a spinner? Eeish
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka
Maybe a change of end for Jarvis?
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Test, Dhaka
They should stick with Don for now I think. Mushy is too good against spin. Let Don keep it tight one end and Jarvis fire from one end. The key difference is Bangladesh will look to accelerate unlike the first innings

Is it in Zimbabwe's favor to bowl us out quickly?
If you bowl us out in 40 overs, you will have to bat out 140 overs to draw. But let us bat out the day and that still leaves 3 sessions.

Ya I was talking about the second sweep. Completely premeditated.

Top order collapses will happen. Liton Das isn't a Test quality opener...lacks technique and temperament. At best he's a WK who should bat at 6 or 7. But then I believe Nurul Hasan is the best WK-bat in Bangladesh. Imrul Kayes also now has become an ODI specialist. Funny because he started his career as a Test specialist.

40 overs is another 120 runs giving you 350 lead which is a tall order. Any way you cut it BD is firmly in the driving seat. I’m still wondering why he’s persisting with spin. That’s a mistake.

Willy is more likely to pick a wicket than Tiripano, Raza, or Mavuta at this stage.
But I'm interested to see how Raza and Mavuta go now that the pitch seems to be turning.
