Re: [Series Thread] Stanbic Bank Zim Twenty20
Price back into the attack, higgins cant get him away but manages a single of the third ball. Williams mistimes another devliery for a single, he look so out of touch,
Re: [Series Thread] Stanbic Bank Zim Twenty20
Williams then sparks into life by playing a great reverse sweep of lamb for for
107/7 of 19
last over Chigumbura on, Williams then smashes a short ball over midwicket for four then scrambles to to long off, three singles follow, Higgins faces the last ball and can only manage a single to long off.
Poor effort by the Tuskers they finish on 118/7 of 20
Williams ends up 44 not out with Higgins on 9 not out

Interesting to note Andy Blignaut is in the Tuskers dugout but not in the side. Dougie Marriler looks in good shape from what i could see and bowled nicely.
Decent Enough crowd for a week day and the sponsors tents looked packed. I would say about 2-3 thousand in the stands with at least another 500 in the corporates areas.

No way near full but 4 games over the weekend should bring the crowds in.

Thanks for the link zimfan1. Watched last 5 overs. Could not get a glimpse of Bliggie, but Dougie Marillier has put on a lot of weight compared to earlier days, but is still fit and healthy. Nice to see Dylon Higgins turning out for Tuskers, would have found it difficult to break into playing 11 with Rhinos already boasting of a quality leggie.
I think a Williams even in his worst form is worth a fortune for the Zim team at the moment, considering his class and international record. Leaving him out for WI tour where he had a WC Man of the Match performance was a mistake.

Douggie Marriler to open up, i am looking forward to this
Ebrahim to open the bowling with his off spin, first ball and starts of with a wide and another wide, Marriler of the mark with a confident on drive to mid on, Masvure the other opener faces his first ball and takes a single to cover by cutting of the back foot, Marrlier then drives down the long on for another single.
5/0 of the fist over
