Mpofu starts his over with good pace and Marriler scrambles a single of the second ball. and Mpofu slides down the leg side for two wides. Prince then slaps the ball over cover for a boundary and then steels a single of the next ball. Marriler then drives the ball into the covers and a misfield brings a single.

Mupurweria into the attack. Two singles taken of the first two balls then Marrlier charges down the track and takes a single wide of mid off. Prince then swings a shot ball to the leg side and picks out the one man on the leg side and is OUT.

The new man is Ryan Butterworth, Marriler takes another single as Butterworth's first ball is a wide outside off stump and then another wide down legside.

Next over is bowled by Mpofu, who is bowling with good pace and Marriler swings and misses at the first two balls, and then nicks a single by dropping the ball into the leg side, then Butterworth guides the ball down to third man for another single and Marriler finishes the over by charging down the wicket and then adjusting his stroke and drops into the leg side for another quick single.

Meth into the attack, bowls a tight line and off the pads for a leg bye, and Butterworth stokes the next ball to mid off for a single, and Marriler tries to leave the ball but gets an edge to short third man and the nip through for a quick single, Meth straies to much outside off for the last ball and Butterworth cuts it for four.

Dabengwa into the attack, misfield by the bowler brings a single of the first ball for Marriler, Butterworth then whips one to the leg side for a single, Marriler then skips down the wicket and smashes one to the cover boundary but Gavin Ewing comes from nowhere a plucks out a screamer from the sky and Marriler is OUT.

Lamb the new batsman and defends his first ball the leg side and there is no run.

I have been baffled throughout the season by some of the team tactics of Tuskers. Captaincy musical chair, underusing bowlers like Meth, and today, opening the bowling with Ebrahim!

Having said that, captain of the day Gavin Ewing pulls of a stunner of a catch to dismiss Marillier!

Ewing brings himslef of and starts of with 3 dot balls then Butterworth pulls a short ball to deep midwicket for a single then lamb gets of the mark with a nudge to leg, then Butterworth finishes of the over with another single to sqaure leg.

Dabengwa to continue and first ball Butterworth runs past one and Coventry completes the stumping and Butterworth is OUT.

New man is Elton Chigumbura who takes a single of the first ball into the covers, then Lamb sweeps to deep backward square leg for a single, then Chigumbura copy's lamb and sweeps for another single, Lamb then scrambles two into the leg side and is almost run out

Big innings for lamb here who has a chance to show his class.

Ewing to continue and starts with two dot balls to Chigumbura, then Boom Boom gets going and hit Ewing for a massive straight 6, Boom Boom then goes again but slices it wide of cover for a couple. then smashes one to long on for a single to keep the strike.

Chigumbura is really ticking now and sweeps Dabengwa for 4 first ball and then cleverly guides Dabengwa for two towards point. Dabengwa then beats Chigumbura outside off stump and they go through for a bye. Lamb then struggles against a good change of pace from Dabengwa as he finishes it off with two dot balls.
