We are the house of committees and boards. We DONT need provincial boards! Maybe one in Bulawayo. There’s not enough cricket played in the other provinces.
It boils down to who votes according to the hopefully amended constitution. Who agrees on the amendments?
We’re still stuck with people with poor agendas getting a vote. We really needed that interim committee working well for a year to show how it should be done.

I see Kirsty Coventry finally aroused out of her slumber and made a statement. She’s a well known person globally in sport and if she says and does the right things it will help, don’t bank on it though.

Of course if ZC has the interests of the sport they would resign and work with SRC to resolve this crisis within the next couple of weeks for the sake of our cricket.
People will sink a national sport for the sake of their board fees, that’s the problem. Seems like they’re not independently wealthy and it’s not a hobby after all.

So with all the hype around our netball girls someone still saw fit to steal their money for supper, and they hadn’t received their pitiful daily allowances. Kirsty Coventry remains silent on this one as well. Apart from a petulant “the government isn’t interfering!” there’s a deafening silence. That tweet has evoked about 500 negative responses from Zimbabweans. We’ve waited for her to lead and she’s done nothing visible and has lost a lot of popularity. She needs to swing a heavy bat and she’s not.

If there was ever an easy target for the icc it was Zimbabwe. USA & Nepal went through the same but their funds were never cut, feel for the players who went through months without pay, several months without cricket only to hear the icc has suspended ZC on conjecture.

It’s still not too late for the players to make a united stand. In fact there’s nothing to lose now. If any one of them still thinks that ZC is the solution then they need to be ousted by their mates. If anywhere approaching half think that ZC are the right guys then we deserve our suspension and ultimate expulsion because it’s coming like a freight train.
It doesn’t matter how this was engineered, the ball is in motion and we’ve got a very limited time to get this done. There’s nothing to lose now. Expose every single bit of dirt on these guys and get them out.
That’s the problem here, lots of circling, raised hackles and bum sniffing, but no one is up for a real fight, just some angry growling and snapping and hope the other runs away. It never going to happen, they will hang on by their fingernails, they need to be pulled out.
