Mountaineers are seeing an avalanche, 50-6 of 10 overs

Looks like an Eagles Mountaineers final

He bowls medium pace, or at least he usually does for Derbyshire. Similar sort of stuff to Darren Stevens, maybe a little quicker, but that's not exactly saying much.

I was able to watch today's match, very good bowling by Greg Smith and Ray Price. An enjoyable match to watch even without much big T20 style hitting.

It's strange that the 3rd place match tomorrow will be live (hopefully Brendan Taylor and the Rhinos are able to qualify for that) but the final won't be according to the Supersport website.

Saw the game today and he is a lot quicker than Stevens, he bowls around the same pace as Chigumbura around 81/82, bowls nice and straight, he has opened the bowling for Darbyshire last season in mainly one day games.

Lets hope the Mountaineers can rope him in for a full season later this year.

It Saturday afternoon which will mean all the Supersport channels will be taken up of English Football and Rugby.

Oh well i will have to attempt to avoid the scorecard until the delayed coverage is shown on Saturday evening which may be a challenge :?

Maybe not - here's the table:

Code: Select all

Pl W L NR Pts NRR
1 Eagles 5 4 1 0 8 +1.066
2 Mountaineers 5 3 2 0 6 -0.407
3 Tuskers 5 2 2 1 5 -0.610
4 Rhinos 4 2 2 0 4 -0.188
5 Vipers 4 1 2 1 3 +0.304
6 Rocks 5 1 4 0 2 -0.242
If Rhinos win, NRR should be enough to get them through.

The Cric info table is incorect has it has not included the bonus points and only gives 2 points for a win instead of 4 which is being given.

The table which is being shown on Supersport coverage and which the commentators referred to in the first match is now

Eagles 17 points
Mounaineers 13 Points
Tuskers 10 Points
Rhinos - 8 Points
Namibia - 7 Points
Rocks - 5 Points

Who ever wins the Rhinos Namibia match will play the Tuskers in the 3rd/4th (Pointless) playoff tomorrow morning
