Zimbabwe have got selectors who were average in their game and now also showing they are average in thinking.
Its totally venomless bowling attack.
Zimbabwe should look to bring back their ex under 19 talents like Matigamu, Ngarava, Jongwe who use to bowl at 140+.
Hamilton Masakadza showing average decision in his job. With this type of attack its hard to make any impact in test cricket.

Injury has cruelled us. If Jarvis/Chatara we’re playing Tshuma and Nyauchi wouldn’t be anywhere near the side.
You can only afford one front line medium pacer. And that’s Tiripano because he can hold a bat - as long as he keeps it economical and puts pressure on from one end o can deal with 0/65 off 30 overs each innings.

Its not Rajput's fault, there is hardly any 140+ bowling talent available in Zimbabwe. Two of the known quick bowlers, B Muzarabani went to UK & Matigamu is in SAKriterion_BD wrote: ↑Sun Feb 23, 2020 7:17 amWell Lalchand Rajput is from an era where India would salivate over a 120 k quick. I guess he's stuck in that mindset.
Tamim and Shanto look immovable. They seemed to be giving the bowlers the first 10-12 overs.

Nyauchi would be a decent third pacer alongside Jarvis and Chatara. But because none of them bat we have to play Tiripano. Madziwa should have played.

Has Chatara hit 140 since breaking his leg a few years ago? I think Jarvis has been around 135-137 since he came back from Lancs. I'd imagine Chatara is around the same pace. He hit 144 in the 2014 series in BD, which was really fast!

To be frank, the pecking order is Jarvis, Chatara, Mumba in that order. Tiripano is probably the best of the rest due to his batting ability. Nyauchi still to early to say, although he looks just like Tiripano. Madziva would be the exact same as Nyauchi just maybe a yard quicker at 130 clicks instead of 125.
