Easy to score those runs when the pressure is off though. Maruma may well have dodged a bullet. In reality Williams should come back into squad and maruma gets dropped. However the Frank mawoza brigade will be calling for Taylor's head

So, when do we get to blame BT and Raza for this terrible showing? How dare they let down those who worked so hard like Regis, Timycen, and Ainsley. Let us not forget that they have disgraced ZC. If only Tavengwa was a little bit younger, he would have scored a double hundred easily.

Just going off the commentary it sounds like a fair number of cheap if not to say stupid dismissals today.

Appears that way. Ervine deserved more from this match. What a sterling individual performance on captaincy debut!

Personally I don't see anything wrong with criticizing your best players for not coming to the party. BT might be the only genuine world class batsman we have. When he fails it impacts the team heavily. I don't see anything wrong with demanding only the best from our very best.

There is no point in criticizing Maruma Regis and Ainsley when they were probably playing at their very best level. The selectors are to blame for picking them.

BT and Raza are much better players than what we saw. Mushfiqur scored his 7th triple figure score in 70 matches. Taylor has 6 from 30. He is that good. Mushfiqur knew with Tamim not scoring big he had to. Taylor knew Williams wasn't there but he still gave away his wicket twice.

You will find even the likes of Kohli get criticized when they don't score big. Nobody should be immune to criticism. BT is our best and he gets paid accordingly. Everybody can see the way he is playing is kind of different to the old days. No match awareness.there is nothing wrong with calling that out.

How dare you go after BT! he is a sacred cow he deserves nothing but praise for coming back to play for Zimbabwe, he could have easily stayed in the county circuit and played cricket in a professional set up , get payed on time and not worry about anything else.He is the only professional we have in the current playing Squad.

BT is untouchable .

Last chance for Maruma I guess. In typical Zim fashion he might scrap together a 40 and get picked for the ODIs
Exactly what happened smh

BT piss poor there, I reckon he's definitely playing for himself now, no regard for the team or match situation. The fringe players let him down twice now since he returned, 1st in 2018 then again in 2019 when he took on the board, BT only cares for himself now I reckon.

The Ervine run-out another disaster, why the fuck are you pushing quick singles, this has been a brutal match for Zimbabwe, will take a lot for them to bounce back in the pyjama stuff
BT should open in the shorter formats. I will say it again. The mentality he has now can be potentially devastating uptop. Move Burl into the middle order. We can't have a situation where our whole middle order retires in 1 year and we don't have anybody who knows how to build an innings.
Yeah I agree, if he’s going to bat like this out him up top

Does BT look like a player who can play 60 games a year anymore? He barely plays in the Logan cup. This is semi retirement for him. Most people seem to miss that. Do you know he only played 4 First Class games in his final season in the UK?
