So are all rounders valuable
I haven't run the numbers, so I can't say for sure. But I don't think so in terms of scoring your team.

The way I am probably going to do the scoring is to take all 11 batting scores and average them for a composite batting score. Then I will take only the guys who's role you select to be a bowler to get a composite bowling score. Finally, I will do the same for the WK in your squad.

The final team score will be the average of those 3 sub-scores: one each for batting, fielding, and wicket-keeping.
Thanks for letting me know...

Hmm, I'm not a big fan of Rohit Sharma myself, but his numbers speak for themselves. When in touch he looks an aggressive version of the sublime VVS Laxman. And definitely a more likable character than Kohli (most Indian players are more likable than him :))

Given all that,
1. I'm not sure how he was not taken till pick no. 34,
2. Best ever? I'm not sure though. But I can imagine your reasoning. He's lethal if he crosses 25-30.

Yeah surprsing that Rohit dropped so low. There are a few other "steals" available, in terms of stats.

Guys here are the WK stats for the time period for the 111 players who have played as designated ODI keepers: the WK score will simply be based on their dismissals (caught WK + stumpings) per innings. The WK batting score will be counted seperately and factored in with the other 10 batsmen in the side.

Yeah I wouldn’t say he’s my favourite player but the guys I wanted have all gone; so considering who was left & the quality of Rohit it was an easy pick.

I would have thought Rohit’s numbers opening the innings in ODI cricket would be the best ever? And he’s done it for a long time now so it’s not like he’s a flash in the pan type player.

I still feel he’s a flat track bully & his game won’t stand up to quality fast bowling with the red ball; but in the current climate of ODI where pitches are flat he’s unstoppable in such conditions.

I really wanted Hashim Amla & Babar Azam to make up my top 3 with Kumar; could you imagine a more stylish top 3 😍😍😍
