What is wrong with Zimbabwe batting . This is probably the same batting line up that cost us the series in Bangladesh after going 1-0 up , same thing here in the windies it is now 3-1 . What is realy wrong here . Lets make a detailed analysis of how these guys whom we entrust with the bat got out

Well of the 7 players you have got there only 4 have been contributing regularly, and evan then it's a case of getting themselves set and then getting out to an assortment of poor shots and bad footwork. Taylor, Lamb and Matsi haven't done a lot. They are in the positions that have to consolidate after the fall of a wicket and instead of absorbing the pressure and knuckling down and grafting with singles and rotating the strike they seem to be blocking away and adding pressure to the in batsmen who then feel forced to try "make" a few shots that get them out. I think that in the first game, Taibu was working the singles so well we were getting 3-4 risk free runs an over. What happened to this? why are we struggling to pick up singles as freely as in the first game? Good captaincy by Gayle?

Lamb and stuart can't bat

taylor's technique jus on and around off is too shakey bcoz he his back leg goes towards leg a lot..

taibu should bat 3 in SA he was our best batter running out of partners and yet we don't bat him regular at 3 putting pressure on him at 5 and shit like that...
chigumbura can and should bat 6 he can play himself in and play his shots and can rotate strike...god look at lam boy can't bat...
vusi has improved i think he need to rotate strike a bit mo lets bowlers settle bowling at him,,
hami needs to improve on his backfoot its not bad thoughsometimes he needs to know he just needs to stay at the wicket and his natural game will get him score not trying to force everytime..

chawaguta needs to go he changes the batting lineup every game...
do we want tymcen to be an allrounder?batter?or bowler? i don't know he seems to have done everything already

Timcen Maruma actaully imprssed me, especially with the bat !! That straight drive off the bowling of Roach was class. He seems to have a solid technique, and there's certainly something to work with in terms of ability. Was also very impressed his leg spin. He certainly spins the ball just as much as Cremer, though i've not seen him bowl a googley yet.

Ithink cremer has more variations to be succesfull at international level

Yes he has, and he spins his googley just as much as his Leg Spinner. In my opinion he's certainly Test Match quality, and he's still only 23 years of age !!
