unreal what opportunities international cricket can provide for players. Taylor hasn’t scored a run in nearly a year and he blasts a ton and a half century and he’s rubbing shoulders with the best players in the world. Good for him as well. He deserves these kinds of opportunities. Just slightly surprised Sean Williams hasn’t been given a gig

Yeah this is true, although maybe the player role they were looking for was an opener or keeper? Yep, I'd wager Madhevere, Williams and Muzarabani will get some T20 gig after our next intl series.sloandog wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 7:53 pmunreal what opportunities international cricket can provide for players. Yeah, pedigree plays a part too. He has that legendary status and one good knock is good enough to remind people of what he is capable of. I certainly thought the Pakistanis would try to latch onto Williams and Madhevere too.sloandog wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 7:53 pmunreal what opportunities international cricket can provide for players. By the way, why did the Sri Lankans not think of any Zimbabweans for LPL? We did well against them recently... Or did our guys not make themselves available? Would have been some good cricket in SL and a nice holiday too
Re: Brendan Taylor to play for Multan Sultans in PSL
a big part of it is because he was there already.
goes to show what can happen, this would never happen to a run of the mill county player.

This is something Ballance should consider too. Think of how many T20 gigs Raza has played. There are multiple opportunities

Ballance would absolutely get noticed if he played for Zim, with his ability

There’s a real love story going on right now with Ballance on this forum mate, where people seem to think he’d come back and play for us. When really, it’s very much a none starter
