Rashid Khan missing is the equalizer we needed after losing BT and Ervine. It’s going to be a lot closer now.

I see Kasuza is doing well whilst Tari and Prince got out early. Multiple options available. It won’t be an easy team to pick even with half of the top guys missing

I'm just really pleased Burl, Tari and Kazuza are in this squad. Young batting prospects.

Looking back what did we really miss from the Test Championship? Bangladesh have only played 5 games so far and lost all 5. COVID really showed us that the big teams have only wanted to play each other anyway

Looks like Zimbabwe have had a pretty good outing in the practice game so far, Kasuza scoring 126 and Williams 80 odd. I read this on twitter.

Rashid missing out is a big boost for Zimbabwe, let's see how it goes when the real thing starts.

I read that as "I'm just really pissed" haha. Guess thats the standard ZCF response to the selections ZC usually makes.

If Rashid Khan is out that's a huge game changer, but why is he out?

Zimbabwe still missing

BT
Craig
Chisoro
KJ
Chatara

Afghanistan should still win

I don't think Khan is out. I read that he will miss the PSL for the Zim tour.

If we had some genuinely fast bowlers I reckon that is where would take Afghanistan. They have a wealth of spinners that I don't think they fair well against speed. Even Rashid hasn't been as lethal as previous years. BBL07 was when he came on the scene and had a breakout with an econ of 5.6 and avg of 13.80. Since then he has averaged over 16 and his econ is closer to 7 even going over in one season. So I think people are getting the hang of him and his impact is not as once was. Mujeeb was far better this BBL season than Rashid.

I think spin will be our weakness when batting, so we really need to take it to their fast bowlers. None of this under 2rpo for 40 overs plus.
