Bad result for Zim, but at least Butcher is facing the real thing and has to evaluate the way forward for the team. Our top order batting is letting the team down all the time, they need to pull up their socks or get dropped. Zim just needs to play more A sides to improve and find a nucleus of the side.

Doesn't look like Bliggy bowled well atall

No... Some people were talking about him opening the bowling for Zim! He bowled one crap over in the T20, and has now been expensive here as well. He will need a LOT of match overs, to make up for the 4 years without any... At least he has had good time in the middle. To be honest, his batting has never looked as if he needed to groove it. At his best, it's very much "see ball, hit ball".sloandog wrote:Doesn't look like Bliggy bowled well atall

The top order is surely letting the team down and Charles Coventry is a load of !@#23. We keep him in the team and the dude is hopeless lets face it. The are better players who are able to replace him Mutizwa, Mawoyo, Chikabva to mension a few. I think all these guys can do better than him. I say his a one hit wonder he should be dropped from the side.

I so disagree dude. He may be a bit hit and miss at the moment, but when he comes off he's world class. His innings against the Windies in the 5th ODI was a fantastic knock, and he's undoubtedly one of the strongest hitters in the country at the moment. Fact, not opinion.tawac wrote:The top order is surely letting the team down and Charles Coventry is a load of !@#23. We keep him in the team and the dude is hopeless lets face it. I agree, but to be honest it wasn't there national team. It was probs there "A" teamZIMDOGGY wrote:Guys I hate to be negative nancy but lets not go sucking each other off just yet.
This is west indies A. We didnt win
To put it into perspective Bangladesh smashed the real west indies (national team) recently.
This wasnt a good result.

Well thats rather odd sloandog, fact is in his last two innings he has scored 2(3) and 0(2). In the Domestic t20 games from his 6 innings he had a total of 62 runs and a High score of 16(18) thats an average of 12.50. THAT IS FACT NOT OPINION. Hardly a match WINNER now is he????

Maybe it's just me I don't know, but I thought that scoring 194* in an ODI outlines the class of a batsmen. He may have had a poor run in the T20 Domestic Tournament, but like is said, on his day the man is mesmerizing !! And ay, read the post man, I said the fact was that he's one of the strongest hitters in Zimbabwe, not the most consistent ! THAT IS FACT Tawac !
I hope you scoff on your words because this tournament will make Charles Coventry
