NZ won the tops and bowling first. Blignaut in for Mpofu and Maruma in for Taylor. Baffling as lamb is in and taylor sacrificed. We have to score heavily and with so many spinners and second half to bowl we can restrict them but before that We hav to fire.

Maruma's inclusion is disappointing. Taylor is a match winner, so I find this to be a disappointing selection.

I hope we beat the hell out of New Zealand. The guys on sky sports r not giving us a chance at all. However i think the weather will be the winner again 2day.

Dropping Taylor is in a way justified. If not anything else, it at least sends a message to him, and others in the team that consistency is what is expected. No one can take their place for granted anymore. Lets face it, last few outings have been forgettable for Taylor.

But I agree, Maruma might turn out to be excess in this case, and hence, continuing with an extra batter would have been a good option. If not that, at least Chibhabha at the top of the innings might have made sense.

As much as I am kind of disappointed with Taylor`s exclusion, I think the game plan is to score 140 or more and to use our five spinners to limit New Zealand to 129 which will help us qualify with a better run rate. I hope the plan plays out. :o :o :o :o

even if they were considering it 20 over affair they didnt hit a single 4 in 5 overs- the crucial powerplay. How will u explain that?

I am loving their aggression today. The intent is there. Dont mind loosing if they continue to fight till end. This is the way they should play ALWAYS. Its not going to be easy ride for kiwis 2day.
