One innings is not definitive. We only get to tell over time.

Plus, only 1 player really performed and he's always had it in him, and he needs to be consistent with it.

The point is that the T20 format should continue to be used to blood the younger players and the more experienced can be reserved for ODIs and Tests. That's what a lot of major nations have done.

Imagine if Shumba had not been picked today, we would not have seen how capable he is in this format

I think he was trying to finish the chatara quota there ..with two right handers on the crease a left arm bowler always had a chance and I think that is what even ervine thought ..
