Wow, that send off that Chivanga just gave Jongwe :o :o :o
Oh wow, Chivanga has just gone right up to new batsman Masuku and given him such a mouthful to the extent that the umpires have had to intervene :o

This level of chat and niggle in the middle is more like an Ashes finale than a mid-season Logan Cup game

Ngarava and Chivanga really trying to intimidate young Madande. He's just hit Ngarava for a six which resulted in a really overexaggerated sarcastic round of applause in his face from Big Rich.

I hope when he gets his century he goes extra big on the celebration.

Good to see in a sense that the games mean something and players arebt simply passive. i think the two fasties may be in danger of overdoing it though

Imagine all of Blessing, Tanaka and Richard all in the same attack with their tails up sledging on a pace-friendly deck. Add Jongwe too (He's a twat as well - I mean that as a compliment). I think many a top order would be intimidated......

Hostility and venom is good. It creates rivalries and a sense of belonging. The games start to have meaning. We need more of that. We have seen a passive brand of cricket for far too long. Its one of our weaknesses. The older generation were tough cookies and that took them places.

I actually think Ngarava has potential to be really great. He has the right amount of aggression needed to be a mean fast bowler. Blessing is a bit more relaxed and about 5kph slower

Congrats to Raza for his career best!!

And.....Takashinga has lost its internet connection with Madande on 97!!! Hopefully he hasn't quite made his century yet, so we can see it when the stream and scorecard comes back online!
