Sorry mate but he either plays for Zimbabwe, or he trys and get into the England setup. We want Sean Ervine to come back probably more than any other player (Next to Anthony Ireland for the fast bowling side of things), but he cant mess his country of birth about. He either wants to come back and help rebuild our cricketing nation, or he doesn't. Mate Mazakadza Won't be a genuine test star. His technique is okay, but he's got a lot of faults that need to be put right[/quotesloandog wrote:Conant wrote: MAYBE Hamilton Masakadza, Sloan? You are looking at potentially your best Test batsman in that team, if Sean Ervine cannot come back.
Which faults exactly, Sloan? Surely you can specify

Lol! Brutal but honestKriterion_BD wrote:ervine should be bribed with a lot money. he could be your best bat.
he won't ever make it to the english first string side (well i won't say ever, but even morgan will get the chop once collingwood comes back). and morgan is a star at T20 and ODI level. ervine hasn't even gotten his cap.
if i were him, i'd rather play Test cricket for zimbabwe, than be a one-cap wonder for England. does he seriously think he can be a regular in the english side? this guy needs an agent. the NBA/NFL always tells mediocre college players where they are projected to go in a draft. someone needs to wake ervine up and tell him his country needs him.
its a no brainer really. fame and fortune all are elusive if he remains in england.

At the beginning of his innings he tends to fall over to the off side, making him a candidate for an Lbw.Conant wrote:Which faults exactly, Sloan? Surely you can specify
His pull shots are very un-orthadox.
He plays around his front leg a lot.
But it's nothing a bit of hard work can't fix
