Yea chivanga hasn't done much, they should try out more players, that's what these 'A' games are meant for. Anyways, plenty of games left in T20s, should see a different line up there.
Thought Makuku would get a go in the last game. Glad that Evans is on the Nepal tour as it does not look like he would have played.
Yes, Evans should be the lead bowler on that Nepal tour.
For the first time since ages Zimbabwe have got a packed schedule of 4-5 months from April to August, and then hopefully the T20 WC as well in October.
Commentators said during the first game that Masuku had a minor niggle. Maybe that’s still keeping him out.
Evans/Jongwe/Nyauchi are our best seamers outside of blessing and big rich. Interesting that all three of them ended up on the second choice tour to Nepal!
I have seen enough of Prince, he has very limited shot options and as an opener he struggles.
I think he is a good Logan/ Domestic player but I don’t know if he will ever improve enough to be a decent international player.
Certainly not the white ball stuff, he finds it difficult to score off his legs although he plays very well straight down the ground. You need to be a 360 to playing white ball stuff at international level.
Good fight shown by Zimbabwe, if only the top order could have done a little more. I don't aaynthings for the sake of it, this is where Burl over one of those top 3 would have been handy towards the end.
Nonetheless these are List A games, as long as Zim learn from all this and do well in the international games, it is good.
If Zimbabwe can play like this, esp at home , I think the 50 over WC qualifier next year will be one hell of an event.
