Grant Flower was a solid batter at international level, although his average steadily declined throughout his career. I think his days as an international player are over. He will make a useful coach however.

having him around with his experience can only be a good thing.

it is plainly insane to think he has a future as an international player.

Well it's not it's just called an opinion, and all i said was I think he could still do a job. I never said he'd be the batter he once was, I just rckon he could be affective in ODI cricket

I think it would be a backwards step to select Flower as a player. He would undoubtedly do better than Matsikenyeri, but I think his time has passed.

Perhaps you are Matsikenyeri himself? That would explain your undying support for him.
